When my brother suddenly died from an illness in front of us, I was shocked numb.
“Are you sure? He can’t really be dead. Can’t we get him to a doctor, or…”
One moment he was alive and the next instant he was gone...
And all of the time that I had spent being busy working towards the dream of being able to
live an ideal lifestyle together with my family– suddenly felt… so small and pointless.
I sat down and took a really hard- long look at the way I was living and at the way I was running my online business.
And I decided to change everything.
My life had changed in a way that I could never go back to. (I had lived around my older brother the whole of my life…)
And my business- it needed to change now too.
I went from starting my business because I didn’t have any money, to realizing that there is so much more that matters than being fixated on making money in this world.
Our days are limited, our energy is limited, our attention, time, and where we choose to spend it.
Being able to make money is how we are able to be in control of our own lives.
Money is a means to have the good stuff in life-
And if we let it, can also be a shackle that makes it so that we are alive, but never truly live.
I SAID NO TO MONEY BEING THE CONTROLLER OF MY LIFE.
I SAID I WOULD MAKE A LIVING IN A WAY WHERE I ACHIEVE MY VERSION
OF ALL THAT I REALLY WANT FROM LIFE.
WHERE I WIN IN THE PRESENT AND GET TO ENJOY THE PROCESS OF MAKING A LIVING – FROM HOME.
AND IN A WAY THAT ISN’T OVERCOMPLICATED, DRAINING, AND LEAVES ME WONDERING WHERE I WASTED MY LIFE.
For me, working online from home is the only option to truly obtain all of my goals.
It is the only lifestyle of work that allows me to be –
TRULY
IN CHARGE OF HOW I LIVE MY LIFE.
I could write you a lot of nonsense here about how much I needed to change, how I hadn’t been behaving responsibly towards making money, and how boo-hoo-what-do-I-do, I was stuck in startup, and whatnot, lol. 😆
But we-
WE ARE WARRIORS.
We took hard hits in the past, and we are going to take hard hits in the future.
Sometimes we feel particularly like we can’t go on…
But we do.
We get up again and keep fighting to move forward. We are brave hearts with big dreams.
I know that like me- you also have a dream to be available for what matters most in your own life.
I know that your life revolves around what lights you up- that you just want your work to be a means of making your life even more full.
We don’t want to need to work, but instead for our work to consist of us doing what we love while making money from it, at any time, and from any place we please.
We want to open up our lives to the best possible future.
We want to win in the present with wins that will last a lifetime.
This is what I am doing here online- I show you what has and what hasn’t worked for me, so that you can save time, energy, and brain space securing a present you get to enjoy, from doing the kind of work you love, & in the way that you love. ✌😉💯
