The power will never actually be really REAL until you supply it yourself FIRST.

You must not outsource your autonomy- your responsibility…

Never hire coaching “TO CHANGE” something about yourself. Coaching is great to hire for other reasons, but if this is why you are hiring a coach, then you are setting yourself up for failure.

You can succeed through hiring a coach in this manner, but it’s an interference. It’s an uphill, backpedaling battle.

𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆…

Darling, sit down and do the thing you’ve been needing to do, and if AFTER. YOU. HAVE. CHOSEN. TO. TAKE. RESPONSIBILITY. AND. DO. WHAT. NEEDS. TO. BE. DONE. you decide to hire a coach “for guidance”- that’s great. 💯

The problem occurs when you sit down with the intention of not doing the thing that needs doing- but to find someone to do it for you, and that’s why you hired the coach.

𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲?

This is one of those things you cannot outsource: taking responsibility for yourself, making decisions, your autonomy.

When you hire a coach, all of the growth STILL COMES FROM YOU. It’s inescapable. (And hiring a coach means there being a danger of stunting that inescapable self-growth…)

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧.

The growth doesn’t happen unless AND UNTIL we are our own coach FIRST.

So, hiring a coach when what you need to be focusing on IS WALKING THE TALK- can add a layer of confusion and DISTRACTION from what you really need to be doing, and this is why I do not recommend you hire a coach if your purpose behind hiring the coach is for them to be a POWER PATCH.
